Pet Sounds (1966) & The Beach Boys
(Le Chud Sigh) It's really not funny how Pet Sounds and Brian Wilson changed my life. I actually cannot listen to this album in public beacuse I get very emotional and I tear up. #ItIsThatSerious. It was a great introduction to my Brian Wilson fever and overall Beach Boys introduction. For me this is one of the best albums out there I fear and nothing will ever top this... My top goes something like this

TALK ABOUT 1966... I get very passional about revolver and the concept of it being so revolutionary. Which is Funny because I shittalk about the beatles quite often... yet One cannot deny the impact in how music fandom changed after them... and the music industry too. Back to the Beatles as a whole, it's fun to see either: 1, their influences in latin rock, or alternatively: 2. latin rock not fucking with them. I think they are Life Changing no matter how you take them.
Corazones (1990) & Los Prisioneros
(Tearning up) You promise?... Without doubt, this is one of the best chilean albums and completely changed the scene at the time. If you made me choose between Corazones being made or Los Prisioneros making more music after 2003 with the original trio, I'd much rather have this album.

Alturas de Machu Picchu (1981) & Los Jaivas
Overall, I don't play about musicalization. I don't play about lieder so naturally I won't play about Alturas de Machu Picchu either. One of the most important chilean AND latin albums, and everyone should at least listen to it once. It's not everyday they bring a piano to Machu Picchu. Pink Floyd could only dream.
I can't even make a top here... All of them are so good and important. Go listen to it and make your own top.

(LOUD CHUD SIGH) Y'ALL JOKING BUT I'M FOR REAL... Learning about her changed my ways of viewing classical music spaces and history and I will be forever in debt with her for that... Sometimes I feel like when current day and year Liszt fans feel about him but with her. Is that too specific? Perhaps... It's actually kind of embarassing. I am deeply interested in women in art spaces so for me to love her the way I do is only natural. Don't make me do a top because I might as well get on my knees and end myself.
